The airport is located 6 kilometres west of Nice.
This airport has an annual capacity of 16.000.000, offers short term and long-term parking, actually everything any big airport has.

By bus.

Nice know two types of busses, the ones for long-distance voyages and the ones for the inner-city. About two dozen bus companies arrive and depart from the intercity bus station and depart various to destinations on various times.

In the inner-city of Nice rides the SunBus. This bus drives on numerous routes al trough the city. To know the entire routes and stops it is wise for you as an international student working in Nice to get a system map and a brochure containing all the rates and times. These brochures are available at numerous places in the city. Prices for bus tickets vary depending of the distance you want to travel.

By car.

Of course Nice has a very good system of roads, highways and city ways. As we told you before it is quite easy to rent a car in Nice. Fact is that the traffic is extremely chaotic. You need a lot of experience in driving to manage in a city like this. On top of that it is very difficult to find a parking space in the centre of Nice. It is also quite normal for locals just to drive their car in the smallest parking spaces without looking or caring for you.

By train.

The central station of Nices train is located 1.2km north of the beach and has very fast and frequent connections to every possible direction. A great variety of international trains stops in Nice as well. Which makes it very easy to access Nice from abroad.

Nice also has very popular, two-diesel trains which are driven by chemins de fer de provence. These diesel powered trains make journeys to Italy stopping at numerous mountain villages and beautiful sights.
By ferry.

Since Nice is situated near the sea it is also very easy accessible by ferry. In fact a journey by ferry is very cheap and relatively fast, depending on the type of ferry you use.
